I am originally from Charlotte, NC and moved to Raleigh, NC during middle school. From there, I went to college in Greensboro, NC. At Greensboro College I received my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. I sat for the Board of Certification exam and passed, which gave me the ATC (certified athletic trainer) credential. After undergrad, I was accepted into the Hughston Sports Medicine Fellowship between Hughston Hospital and Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. While there I received my Masters of Education in Health and Physical Education and I worked at Jordan Vocational High School as their head athletic trainer. Now I'm back in the Charlotte area and my life has come full circle.

I taught Health and PE in Cabarrus County Schools for 8 years before I made the switch to CTE Business. This is my fifth year as a CTE Business teacher. I love my curriculum and I look forward to getting students excited about business education.
