Reading Requirements:

Students should be reading most nights of the week to build reading interest and stamina. They will set goals for their reading each quarter and record pages read on a bookmark/reading log. When they complete their book, they will turn the bookmark/log in to me. We will conference periodically and adjust goals as necessary. Students who meet the goal they set for themselves will be able to attend the quarterly reading celebration. 

Vocabulary & Grammar:

Vocabulary & grammar assignments that aren't completed in class will also need to be finished at home. These assignments will be done on paper. Students will have access to study materials for all vocabulary units through Quizlet, which can also be found on Google Classroom. Grades will be updated regularly in PowerSchool, so make sure you are checking for any missing assignments. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
