Welcome to the First Grade! 

This is my sixth year teaching 1st grade. I am so excited about spending the year with your child! I have my degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Children's Literature and Childhood Studies from the University of NC at Charlotte. I am a native Charlottean and I still live there with my husband, my son Skylar, and my German Shepherd dog, Rory! I love reading, chocolate, hand lettering, teaching, and binge-watching my favorite shows!

Monday - PE (NO FLIP FLOPS. Please send your child in athletic shoes)

Tuesday- Art and Engineering

Wednesday- Digital Kids / Media (this alternates each week so after receiving the first library books, please send them back every other week.)

Thursday- Music

Friday- Culture/Spanish
