Ms. Linthicum

Hello and welcome to my 2nd grade class! This will be my 15th year teaching here at Wolf Meadow. In that time, I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but reading is my favorite! I love to sit down with a good book and “get lost” for a few hours. 

I am originally from Virginia, but have lived the majority of my life in North Carolina in Cabarrus County. I graduated from Central Cabarrus High School, and earned two degress from UNC Charlotte: a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading Education. I’m looking forward to another season of Forty Niner football this fall! In addition to going to football games, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, baking, gardening, and reading.

I check the students’ agenda and green folder every morning, and I ask that you check it every evening for notes or other important information from school! Every Monday you will receive a “This Week in 2nd Grade” email where I share what students are working on during the coming week. Please keep an eye on your email for this message every week in addition to any other specific communication concerning your child.
