Mr. Newman

 

        Welcome to the technology page here at Winkler Middle! My name is Dave Newman and this is my seventh school year at Winkler. Within our school community, we have many laptop carts, including MacAir computers, Dell Computers, Dell Chromebooks, and four iPad carts. Each classroom is equipped with Smartboard technology or Apple TV capabilities and the campus has full wifi access. Our students are actively engaged in using these resources to help them learn on and off campus regularly on a daily basis.

 

        My career in education started with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in 2015 and I have been a lifelong learner ever since. I love playing guitar / singing, relaxing with my family (wife and pitbull), and I look forward to an exciting year of learning!
