Ms. Lativia (Tiv) Smith

My name is Ms. Smith and I am so excited to be your child's EC teacher. This is my second year in education, but I have worked 10 plus years in mental health. I decided to change my career, and go after education full time.  I am a Charlotte native, but I've lived in Cabarrus County since I was 13 years old.  I graduated from Central Cabarrus High School. I completed my undergraduate degree from UNCCharlotte in African American Studies. I recently received my graduate certificate in Special Education. I am a life-long learner. I look forward to getting to know your child's strengths and passions.
