Classified Benefits

Classified employees working 6 hours per day/30 hours per week or more are currently offered benefits through the Self-Insured Schools of California, commonly referred to as SISC. Classified staff are able to select one of the following medical plans:

• Blue Shield HMO
• Blue Shield Save Net HMO
• Blue Shield G20 PPO
• Blue Shield G30 PPO
• Kaiser Permanente HMO
• Kaiser Permanente DHMO

Classified staff are also able to select from one of the following dental plans:

• Delta Dental PPO
• Delta Care HMO
• Anthem Dental

Additionally, all classified employees working 6 hours per day or more are enrolled in a District-paid disability policy through American Fidelity.

All classified employees, regardless of hours worked, are enrolled in a District-paid life insurance policy through Lincoln Financial. The amount of coverage is as follows:

• $20,000 group term life and accidental death and dismemberment for themselves
