What does the instructional day and calendar year look like?
- Sage Creek High School students will enroll in a trimester schedule. Please CLICK HERE to read more about the distinctions of the trimester schedule.
- Sage Creek High School instructional day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Early Out Wednesdays the instructional day ends at 2:30 p.m. These dates are announced each month.

Sage Creek will be in session on the CUSD Semester Break Day and will observe a Trimester Break Day in March.
Can a student graduate early because of the accelerated nature of the trimester schedule and ability to earn 300 credits when only 230 are needed to graduate?
- Technically, yes. However, in our consultations with schools offering the trimester schedule, the norm has been that students in fact take courses that offer more in-depth study in core-subject areas, such as science and mathematics, or students explore various electives.
