I love teaching and I feel very fortunate to be able to spend my days surrounded by children. This is my 16th year at Cherokee Bend; I also taught in Vestavia for nine years. My undergraduate degree is in English from Birmingham-Southern College. I received my Masters in Elementary Education from Samford University and my Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Education from UAB. I am Mountain Brook born and bred and thrilled to be back "home."

I am married to Eddy and we have two precious boys- ages nine and five.
