Meet Mrs. Kirk
I am so excited to move into the literacy coach this year! This is my tenth year at Cherokee Bend and my 19th year in education. I taught kindergarten, third and fifth grade in a self-contained and a departmentalized setting. I earned a Educational Specialist degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012 and recertified my National Board Certification in 2020.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Adam. We enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, scuba diving, and playing tennis. I also love to read and complete word and number puzzles.
