Ms. Christine MacPherson is about to begin her second year with Mountain Brook Schools for the 2020-2021 academic year. She began her teaching career in LaGrange, GA in 2008 after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught first grade in LaGrange for eight years. During this time she continued her own educational journey and received a M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and an Educational Specialist (Ed. S) in Teacher Leadership. 

In 2016 Ms. MacPherson moved to Atlanta, GA and continued teaching first grade for three years. Ms. MacPherson has an easy nickname, Ms. Mac! She is the youngest of four sisters and values spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid reader, traveler, and scuba diver.

Ms. Mac is overjoyed to be a part of the Cherokee Bend team for the 2020-2021 year. Go Chiefs!
