Mrs. Amy Dern is a certified occupational therapist who has worked for Mountain Brook Schools for 18 years. She is currently the occupational therapist for Crestline Elementary School and Cherokee Bend Pre-School. She earned her degree in occupational therapy from U.A.B. in 1997. Mrs. Dern worked at Children's Hospital of Alabama prior to working for Mountain Brook Schools in 2004. Mrs. Dern works with students to improve their fine motor, visual-motor, handwriting, sensory processing, and executive functioning skills to enhance their learning potential.
