Rachel (Alexander) Lazzaroni is thrilled to be a part of the Cherokee Bend team as the STEM/Computer Science Teacher for K-6! She is also the Robotics Team Coach. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Rachel is entering her ninth year in education. She has spent previous years teaching various subject areas, STEM, and enrichment to multiple grade levels in Pattville, Selma, and Montgomery. Rachel is originally from Prattville, Alabama; however, she loves the Birmingham area. She and her husband have two dogs, Odie and Moose.

Mrs. Lazzaroni enjoys learning about new and innovative technology, traveling, and spending time with her dogs. Mrs. Lazzaroni is so excited about the school year, and she believes this year is the best year for new opportunities to learn and grow!
