Meribeth Bradley
Meribeth Bradley is a Disney loving kindergarten teacher. She was born and grew up in Maury County and is proud to say she has been teaching here for 17 years. She loves teaching, but our of all of the grades she has taught kindergarten is her favorite. She loves all things Disney and you will often see her wearing mouse ears to school.

Sydnee Herbek
Mrs. Herbek is thrilled to be teaching kindergarten at Battle Creek Elementary! She is a native of Lawrenceburg, and moved to Maury County with her husband, Ryne. She went to the University of North Alabama. This is her third year teaching, all of which she has been teaching kindergarten. Mrs. Herbek loves to spend time with her family and playing with her dog, Winnie!

Lori Mizer
Mrs. Mizer is beginning her 26th year teaching, and her 4th year at Battle Creek. Originally from the Memphis area, she taught in Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri before she and her husband, Mike, planted their roots in Maury County. They have a son, Quent, who plays baseball at Johnson University, and a dog named Rebel. Outside of school, Mrs. Mizer enjoys running/hiking, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family.

Caila Partida
Mrs. Partida is beginning her fifth year of teaching Kindergarten and her fourth year at BCES. One of her favorite things about teaching is fostering a love and enthusiasm for learning. Mrs. Partida is married to her husband, Alex, and lives in Spring Hill. She enjoys teaching in the community she grew up in. When she has spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and visiting new places.

Jessica Riffe
Mrs. Riffe is excited to be teaching kindergarten at Battle Creek! This is her 18th year of teaching. Mrs. Riffe lives with her husband, Shawn, in Columbia. Together, they have three adult children, two sons-in-law, an "almost" daughter-in-law, and three amazing grandsons. Mrs. Riffe looks forward to a fabulous year with your Cub!

Jennifer Searfoss
Miss Searfoss graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2016 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
She has been a long-term substitute teacher in kindergarten and an extended-leave substitute teacher in third and fourth grade special education as well as a day-to-day substitute teacher in K-5th Grade. Miss Searfoss has taught kindergarten at Battle Creek since the school opened in 2019. Her favorite thing about kindergarten is seeing how much the students grow and learn in a year. In the Fall, she helps coach the elementary school's Cross-Country team. Miss Searfoss enjoys reading and spending time with her dog, Buster.
