Fairport High School Student Stephen Sampson, a 12th grader, completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by constructing four picnic tables for an outdoor classroom in the Northside Elementary School courtyard. Stephen says the project, from the planning stages to completion, took 170 hours. Stephen says 17 adults and 11 Scouts from his troop and from the school assisted with the picnic table project.

Northside School Principal Erin Moretter thanked Stephen for his dedication to the project, and said, “[Stephen’s] hard work and efforts certainly made a difference for all of us at Northside.”
