The Fairport Central School District will host upcoming events for the community for the proposed 2021-22 School Budget. All events, in addition to offering community members the opportunity to attend in-person following all COVID-19 safety measures, will also be live streamed via YouTube live at: https://www.youtube.com/user/FairportCSD/live.

The Board of Education Meeting on Tuesday, April 20 will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Fairport High School, room 512, and will include a final discussion and board adoption of the 2021-22 school budget. The meeting begins with a public hearing and board recognitions. Public comments and the business meeting with budget presentation will follow.

The Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 4 at Fairport High School, room 512 at 6:30 p.m. is opportunity for the community to learn about the 2021-22 budget development process with the Board of Education and Fairport Central School District administration, as well as a presentation on the Fairport Public Library’s 2021-22 budget.

The Meet the Candidates Night hosted by the PTSA on Wednesday, May 5 at Fairport High School Room 512 at 7 p.m. is an opportunity to meet the candidates running for the Board of Education, and the candidates running for the Fairport Public Library Board of Trustees. This event offers community members the opportunity to ask questions (due by April 30 – see below) and hear from Fairport’s prospective Board members for both the District and Public Library.

All events are ahead of the Fairport Central School District Annual Budget Vote/Board Elections on Tuesday, May 18 from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Johanna Perrin Middle School.
