This year, the Fairport Central School District celebrates 25 years of Brotherhood-Sisterhood Week (held each year in March), which focuses on the core values of Civility, Awareness, Respect and Embracing others. The founders of Brotherhood-Sisterhood Week sought to address issues around diversity in Fairport and to develop an inclusive school community.
To celebrate this milestone, and to reaffirm the District’s commitment to racial equality, the District is looking for a Fairport graduate to kick off this celebratory week by delivering the annual Family Talk to staff and students. This important speech sets the tone for the week and helps focus our thoughts and actions on living the C.A.R.E. principles. We value your voice and experience. If you are interested in speaking or know of someone who is, please contact Fairport High School Principal Mr. Bob Clark via email at rclark@fairport.org or via phone at (585) 421-2100.
