All students who attend in-person instruction on Friday, Oct. 16 will be released 10 minutes early for our annual drill required by New York State Education Department (NYSED) regulations.

This drill also coincides with the District’s Safety Week, Oct. 19-23, in which students will learn and practice emergency safety drills. We practice these drills to refine our communication processes, and help our students develop awareness on important safety procedures.

In the case of school emergency situations, the District uses Parent Square’s phone/email/text messaging system to communicate with families. For more information about Parent Square and/or to change your notification options, visit http://parents.fairport.org and click on ‘Parent Square’ or log into your Parent Square account. Any contact information changes need to be updated through your child’s school main office.
