Donning their caps and gowns and nametags declaring their post-graduate plans, Fairport High School’s Class of 2019 took a stroll down memory lane by returning to their former schools as part of the school’s first-ever Graduation Walk.
The graduating seniors boarded buses and traveled to their first stop, Minerva DeLand, before going on to their respective middle and elementary schools. The seniors were excited to be greeted by cheering students and teachers. Feedback has been so positive about the experience, the high school is already looking at ways to improve the event for next year! A special thank you to Sue Casement and Jason Lehmbeck for their support in making this possible.
Congratulations, Class of 2019! You’re almost there. We’re so proud of you!
