Interested in running for the Board of Education? Fairport Central School District announces petitions for candidates for the Board of Education are currently available in the District Clerk’s office, 38 W. Church St. The two seats currently held by Damon Buffum and Maureen Nupp will expire on June 30, 2019.

Candidates wishing to run for the Fairport Board of Education with new three-year terms beginning on July 1, 2019 can obtain a nominating petition during regular hours 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Petitions must be filed with the District Clerk at the District Clerk’s office, 38 W. Church St., not later than April 22, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Each petition must be directed to the District Clerk, must be signed by at least 40 qualified voters of the District and must state the name and residence of the candidate. Voting on the 2019-2020 district budget and Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
