Hi, my name is Ashley Briscoe and I am the new Occupational Course of Study (OCS) Occupational Preparation teacher at Hibriten High School for grades 9-12. I have had the pleasure of working at Hibriten as a Pre-Employment Transitions Specialist since 2020 and was excited to be hired as the Occupational Prep teacher last March 2022. I recently moved to Lenoir from Boone, NC, where I Graduated from Appalachian with a degree in Special Education in May 2020. I was born and raised in Rutherford county, NC, where I went to high school at RS-Central High, but I fell in love with Caldwell County and decided to make this my hometown! In my free time, I love to read and spend time with my 5-year-old Staffordshire Terrier named Po. My passion has always been to show students that they have the potential to do wonderful and impactful things. I’m excited to build a positive community with my Panther family.
