Meet Mr. Jonathan Bryant

Hello, students and parents! Welcome to our class website. My name is Jonathan Bryant. I am excited to be teaching Honors World History through Caldwell Connect and American History I at Hibriten High School for the 2021-22 school year. I am a graduate of West Caldwell High School, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, and Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in history for secondary education. I am beginning my seventh year of teaching. Prior to coming to Hibriten High School, I worked with first-generation college students as a TRIO Specialist at CCC&TI. I have also worked with students in our Apex lab to take dual-enrollment classes, NCVPHS classes, and recovery credits. Teaching history and helping students achieve their goals (especially with first-generation college students) are extremely important to me. My wife, Kelly, teaches in the Business Department at Hibriten High School.
