Ms. Jaime Alsop

Hello! I'm Jaime Alsop, a native of a small town called Bowling Green, Virginia. I was born in Richmond, VA and attended college at James Madison University in Harrisonburg,Virginia, receiving my undergraduate degree in English. I will soon have my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, and will then pursue a degree in Educational Leadership and/or Curriculum and Instruction. I moved to Charlotte in 2002 and have resided in the Charlotte and Concord areas since that year. I've taught grades K-8 in my many years of teaching in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, A.C.E. Academy Charter School, Carolina International School, and now, Cabarrus County Schools. I absolutely LOVE teaching ELA and I enjoy building relationships with my students. 

In my free time, I love being with my 6-year-old son, Aaron, traveling, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. I feel fortunate and blessed to be a part of the Roberta Road Middle School family. Let's Go Raptors!
