This project involved 65+ acres of site development for related fields, parking and the 232,000 SF High school. The school designers incorporated several sustainable features into the structure which has two cantilevered roof canopies over the lobby, and a rain water collection system to service the greenhouses. As an education tool, Bio-Tech labs were built for the Bio Technology Curriculum as well as for working with plant DNA related to the advanced horticultural program, and a masonry lab for teaching vocational skills in the Cabarrus County's Award Winning Masonry Program.  There is a 35 acre athletic field complex which runs adjacent to the Rocky River. The complex houses a football field, six athletic buildings, a lighted baseball field, a lighted softball field, a soccer area, and six lighted tennis courts. The site incorporates 2 retention ponds that will be transformed into aquatic ponds and wetland habitat once construction is finished.

The 42' high open atrium lobby with two 78' long skylight sections at both ends of it's 216' length welcomes students. The food venues offer fast food service in addition to the regular cafeteria menu. The state of the art auditorium has 616 seats, 13 handicap seats.
