Welcome Back Amazing Artists!

We will begin the year with a celebration of International Dot Day.  The official date is September 15, but with a 7 day rotation, we will begin dot based artworks on September 14 and continue through all classes.  Kindergarten friends will be introduced to painting while 5th grade students will learn one-point perspective and observational drawing.  Here's a quick peek at what is in store for the first few months: 

Rotation 1: Introduction to the art room, make folders and get to know one another

Rotation 2: Dot artworks: K= tempera painting, 1= shape and line resist, 2= printmaking, 3= printmaking, 4= yarn art, 5= one point perspective landscape drawing
