Mrs. Liz Rougeau

Hello Boger Beacons!  I am excited to be returning to Boger this year for the 2021-2022 school year! This is my 13th year as a school counselor in Cabarrus County and CMS. My role as a school counselor is to work with students, staff and families to help identify and break down barriers that may be preventing students access to academic achievement.  I also help support the social and emotional growth of our students by providing resources for core lessons as well as opportunities for small groups and individual counseling.  The American School Counseling Association is a guide for my work in providing a comprehensive school counseling program for our school.  I look forward to getting to know each of you and working with you to see our students grow.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending my time with my friends and family.  I have twin daughters who will be in 1st grade this year, a husband who helps me hold it all together, and a sweet dog Abby who loves adventures.  My favorite thing to do is to explore different parks, greenways and hiking trails around Charlotte and the surrounding areas with my family.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are interested in how I can support you or your student.  Feel free to email me or use the link below to request more information.
