Welcome to Art at Boger Elementary
 
Another fun-filled year of learning begins. I look forward to exploring creativity with our students through drawing, painting, sculpting, pottery making, printmaking and more.  The possibilities are boundless!  Visual art brings joy to my life, and sharing it with the students of Charles E Boger Elementary School is a true privilege for me. 
Encore classes will operate on a seven day rotation, meaning I will see each class once every seventh school day.  Our schedule is as follows:
7:45 - 8:30       Rotating PLC support
8:30 - 9:15       Rotating Encore with PLC grade level
9:20 - 10:05     5th grade Encore
10:10 - 10:55   4th grade Encore
11:00 - 11:45   3rd grade Encore
11:45 - 12:15     Lunch
12:15 - 1:00      2nd grade Encore
1:10 - 1:55        Kindergarten Encore
2:00 - 2:45       1st grade Encore

  • The Art Room Could Use Some.......

    If you have unwanted art or craft supplies lying around the house, Boger's students can certainly put them to use!  Perhaps you have some of the following used or new items you no longer need.  If so, please send them in with your student or drop by the art room with them.

    the inner cardboard tube from paper towels, toilet paper and gift wrap

    how to draw books

    picture books students can use as a visual reference for drawing

    cardboard based Chinet dinner plates                        

    small boxes or other items students might use to create a sculpture

    sharpie markers of any size or color                                                            

    yarn                                                                              

    paper disposable bowls                                               

    empty spray bottles
