Mrs. Sonya Allman

My name is Sonya Allman. I will be your child's Pre - K teacher this school year. This will be my third year at Boger Elementary. I have 27 years experience in education. I have taught students with special needs ages 3-adult. As well as regular ed students ages 3 and 4 year olds. I am a graduate of Rowan/Salisbury Schools and earned my B-K degree at Catawba College. 

I am a wife, a mom of 2 beautiful grown daughters and the maw maw of 2 handsome grandsons. When I am not at school, you may find me and my husband hiking in the NC Mountains, ziplining, or hanging out on the beach.

While I may be your child's first educator, I believe parents are a child's first teacher. As your child's educator, it is my responsibility to give them the knowledge they will need to be successful in school. I believe every child is capable of learning, regardless of their background or ability.
