Mrs. Taylor Grigsby

     Welcome! My name is Taylor Grigsby. I am so excited for this school year together! This is my 9th year teaching at AT Allen. This will be my 2nd year teaching fifth grade. I taught fourth grade for 7 years before moving up to fifth grade. 

     I grew up near Winston Salem, NC and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2014 with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. I value perseverance, hard work, kindness, and responsibility in the classroom. I love to see students' understanding and love of learning grow as they problem solve, discuss their thinking with classmates, and set (and achieve!) personal and team goals.

    In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband, our son Oliver, and our daughter Hadley. I also love to travel, hike with our two dogs, run, and try new restaurants.
