Dr. Coreen Anderson

 
 
Coreen Anderson, Ed.D is an educator at Concord High School. 
 
She has a Doctorate  degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University; a Masters degree in Teaching from Wake Forest University; and undergraduate degrees in General Studies from Jamaica Theological Seminary and Shortwood Teachers' College. 
 

Her research interests span the educational gamut. Currently, her research interest is in the value of family and community engagement. Most of her research focuses on the importance of family and community engagement and its ability to impact student learning.

Her professional career outside of academia includes peer reviewing articles for publication, writing for publication, as well as partnering with peers to grow start-up businesses.

She enjoys cooking, reading fiction and non-fiction, watching 70’s & 80’s TV shows, listening to Reggae music, and spending time with family and friends.
