Mr. Patrick Patty

I want to take this time and introduce myself. My name is Patrick Patty and I will be one of your son/daughter’s Public Safety and Project Management instructors this Fall. The Public Safety / Project Management class is part of the Career and Technology Education curriculum with a focus on Emergency Services and Project Management. The Public Safety course provides basic career information in the three emergency services disciplines of law enforcement, fire operations and emergency medical services. Project management is the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of a project, namely, achieving its goals and objectives.  These courses includes skills in each area, using resources from the community to help deliver instruction to the students. English language arts are reinforced.

I am a second-year teacher in the high school setting however taught for Rowan Cabarrus Community College for several years in their Basic Law Enforcement Training program. I was employed with the Kannapolis Police Department for 25 years and retired October 2019. I worked in all areas of the police department during my career and retired as part of the Senior Command Staff. I am extremely honored and motivated to take on this new challenge in assisting our students develop into our future leaders.
