Welcome Back!   

My name is Mrs. Gomiz and I am the English/Language Arts teacher for our team. This will be my tenth year at C. C. Griffin and I am so excited for this year! 

I graduated from Appalachian State University—Go APPS! I am incredibly passionate about all things Appalachian, including Mountaineer football! In my free time, I enjoy reading, running with friends, and hanging out with my family! My favorite part of teaching is getting to know you, my students, and teaching you the amazing things that can be found in books. I love learning new things, and we will learn a lot together this year. The most important thing to me is that you come to class every day willing to try. A good attitude is the best key to learning. I really look forward to getting to know you and having a great year!
