All information about the class, including expectations,

codes/links, and all assignments with materials, videos and

activities can be found in CANVAS. We will build an interactive notebook

during class discussions as a reference to all the information we cover in each unit.

Students are strongly encouraged to copy/attach all notes/materials that are provided

during the class period for future reference and study.

If interested, there is a link in the team slideshow on the Canvas homepage with instructions for parents to join Canvas as an observer, join Remind for team messages,  and to obtain access to PowerSchool to assist in keeping your student on track.

Please remember that we are paperless for progress reports and report cards, so please log into the Parent Portal to view your student's progress on a regular basis.   The students are reminded and encouraged to check grades regularly as well and to report/question any discrepancies.  We have a ONE week recovery period from the date a grade is entered into PowerSchool for the missing work to be completed and submitted to receive credit.

Daily attendance will be taken during the homeroom period. Please note: a note from the appropriate office is required to excuse absences and tardies due to medical and dental appointments or court proceedings.  Otherwise, the absence/tardy will be unexcused even with a note from the parent.
