I have been teaching middle school health for twelve years now, and this is my third year at C.C. Griffin.  I relocated to Concord, NC, with my family, from upstate New York. We have absolutely loved getting to know this area and making new friends. My previous health education experieces include teaching middle school health in New York, working in community health education and also working in higher education as a health educator.

In health class, we learn about topics such as mental health, nutrition, alcohol and other drugs, and family life.

6th Grade Health Class is from 9:12am to 10:44am

7th Grade Health Class is from 12:19pm to 1:52pm

8th Grade Health Class is from 2:25pm to 3:59pm

*Each of these classes meets every other day, opposite the students' other Encore class.

Each time your student comes to health class, we will begin the class with 10-15 minutes of movement, followed by class time and work time.
