Britannica Online
You will need the username and password provided to you in school. Hint: The username has to do with our school and the password has to do with the library. It was on a blue sheet of paper from Library or Computer Technology class. Do not forget about the blue "Discover America" box located after clicking the "View this level" button. There is also a link to "Discover the World."

Order of Operations
Exploring Order of Operations (Object Interactive) This interactive mathematics resource allows the user to explore the order of operations (brackets, exponents, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction). The resource also includes print activities, solutions, learning strategies, and a math game. -
Math Test Practice
This website contains online testing for Math, Science and Technology for grades 2-8. Tests are from Virginia's state testing, which is closely aligned with NYS curriculum and testing. -
Angles: Estimate Angles 2: Circle Angle
More difficult. Click on the circle to start the ray in motion. Click on the circle again to stop the ray at the given angle. Points are given based on how near the ray was stopped to the given angle. When students learn to use a protractor, they are sometimes confused by the two sets of numbers around its perimeter. Does the angle measure 130° or 50°? This confusion can usually be avoided by giving students experience in estimating angle measures. Anyone who has a good sense of what a 130° angle looks like in all its possible orientations will never confuse it with a 50° angle! Here are some interactive sites that give students practice estimating angle measures. -
