Welcome to PE at Popp's Ferry!

I am Coach Summy, and I am in my first year teaching PE here at Popp's Ferry and 14th year overall teaching physical education.  I have spent a majority of my teaching career in Des Moines, IA and moved to Mississippi two years ago and taught and coached at Diberville High.  I have also been given the opportunity to coach football and tennis at Biloxi High and I am looking forward to teaching your children the value of physical wellness this year at Popp's Ferry!

Your children will participate in a variety of activities this year in PE and our emphasis is to get them up and moving, while at the same time teaching them to work with other students in a group setting and helping them develop their social skills as well.
