Welcome to K!

Hi! My name is Savannah Roch. This is my fourth year in kindergarten. I began my career as an assistant teacher, and this is my first year as the lead teacher. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi (SMTTT) with a bachelor's degree in elementary education (K-6) in 2022. I attended Popp's Ferry Elementary throughout my childhood, and I absolutely adore this school and the students that we have. Mrs. Boyd is our fabulous assistant!

I am so excited about this school year as we watch our students learn and grow! We will be learning lots of new things and doing many fun activities throughout the year. Each day your student will bring home both their red folder and a planner. The red folder will hold important information including anything that needs to be returned to school, completed work, school updates, and much more. The planner will show the color they were on for the day and be an additional form of communication. Please make sure to check both nightly. I check these daily in the morning!
