Hello kindergarten students and parents!

 My name is Lacy Brown. I have been teaching for 12 years. I started my journey to the classroom as an assistant teacher and decided teaching was definitely the job for me.  In 2010, I received my degree in k-6th education. In 2018 I completed my National Board Certification, and I will soon begin my journey towards a masters degree. 

I am so excited to welcome both you and your child to Popp’s Ferry Elementary. My classroom, as well as our school, is dedicated to making this year the best year yet. In my classroom, we will not only focus on getting your child ready for first grade, we also focus on building social and emotional skills, developing independence, creating a class family, and fostering a love for learning.
