COVID-19 Data Dashboard

  • The COVID-19 Data Dashboard is updated on Wednesdays using data from the previous Wednesday - Tuesday.

BISD is committed to sharing information that tracks the prevalence of COVID-19 in the BISD community. This data is to serve as a visual to demonstrate the prevalence of COVID-19 in the BISD community. BISD uses the most up-to-date data we have available but this chart may change as additional data is received. In addition, if a close contact becomes COVID-positive, they will be counted twice in the cumulative chart (once as a close contact and once as a positive case). This chart only tracks those who were in isolation or quarantined because they were identified as COVID-positive or as a close contact to a COVID-positive case. This includes school-based exposures as well as exposures outside the BISD community involving BISD staff and students (such as extended family exposures, childcare facilities, etc.). Numbers do not include people asked to stay home because they have a COVID-19 symptom.

    DEFINITIONS FROM THE CDC:

Isolation separates sick people with a contagious disease from people who are not sick.

Quarantine separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become sick.
