Max Sloniger: PCHS Class of 2022 Senior Spotlight
Help us celebrate our next PCHS Class of 2022 Senior Spotlight, Max Sloniger!
Max is the son of Max and Judy Sloniger.
Max's favorite quote: "Work smarter, not harder."
While in high school, Max has been involved in Band, Scholar Bowl, Chess Club, and the Yearbook.
Max's advice for incoming freshmen: "Just do the work and you'll be fine."
Max tells us his favorite class at Putnam has been Folklore & Mythology with Mr. Buller. Max says, "For a first-year class and a first-year teacher, both semesters were great! Mr. Buller knows when the material isn't clicking and knows when to change things up so the class never got boring, plus having maybe 15 people in the class it always felt chill."
We asked Max about the teacher who has had the biggest impact on him at PC. He said, "Mrs. Dickerson. She knows how to keep the class engaged and knows when the class needs a chill day."
Max's funniest memory at PCHS: "The time that Jude Pittman just picked up the mashed potatoes with his hand at lunch and took a bite out of it like it was an apple. Also most memorable was that time at Evening with the Arts when Bradley took a bite of too much sour cream and almost threw up."
After graduation Max plans to either go to work or a trade school. In 5-10 years, he sees himself living somewhere in Missouri.
Congratulations, Max! We wish you all the best!
