Grace Schnelle: PCHS Class of 2022 Senior Spotlight
🥳Help us congratulate our next PCHS Class of 2022 Senior Spotlight, Miss Grace Schnelle!
👩🎓Grace is the daughter of Chris and Christina Schnelle.
🙌Grace tells us, "Throughout my four years of high school, I have participated in softball, basketball, track, cheer, band, FFA, trap shooting, FBLA, DECA, Student Council, and NHS. I am the Senior Class President, FCCLA Vice President, Interact Vice President, and SADD Treasurer. I have been on the A Honor Roll every year and last semester I was recognized on the President's List at Missouri Western University for having a 4.0 GPA in at least 12 hours of classes."
🏆We asked Grace about her most memorable moment at PC. She told us, "My most memorable moment of high school was winning State cheer competition my senior year. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with those girlies!"
🎯"My advice to any incoming freshman would be to take care of yourself and not overdo it, but don’t limit yourself and don’t let others convince you that you are limited in what you can do. Believe in yourself and then live so as to reach for your possibilities. You can achieve what you believe you can. Your only limit is the one you set yourself."
💪Grace's favorite quote is, "Impossible is just an opinion."
👨🏫When we asked Grace what teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on her while at PCHS, this is what she had to say. "The staff member at Putnam that has impacted me the most is Mr. Smith. As my basketball and track coach for many years, he has helped me become not only a successful athlete but also be successful in life. Coach Smith's superpower is being able to put a smile on my face even when I'm in the worst mood."
📚We asked Grace to tell us about her favorite classes in high school. She said, "My favorite class has been my college classes through Missouri Western University because I get to sit in the quiet library for five hours every day with Mrs. Watt."
💜Grace's plans... "After graduation, I plan to attend @Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and minor in Finance. I will then continue an additional year at Truman to earn my Master's of Accountancy and become a Certified Public Accountant. In five to ten years, I see myself married with maybe one kid on the way. Settled down in a small town like Unionville, if not Unionville itself, working at a small accounting firm."
🥳Congratulations, Grace! We are #PutnamProud of you!
