Samantha "Sam" Daniels: PCHS Class of 2022 Senior Spotlight
Senior Spotlight time! Help us celebrate Miss Samantha "Sam" Daniels!
Sam is the daughter of Brad and Cindy Daniels.
Her favorite quote is, "Appreciate where you are in your journey, even if it's not where you want to be. Every season serves a purpose." -Unknown
During her high school career, Sam has stayed busy in many activities. She is a member of Interact, FCCLA, FBLA, DECA, NHS, SADD, Student Council, and a Senior Class Officer. She is currently the Interact President, NHS Treasurer, and Secretary for Student Council and the Senior Class. Sam has also participated in softball where she has been awarded patches for her academic and position accomplishments.
Sam's advice for incoming freshmen: "Make wise decisions because they reflect your future outcome."
After graduation, Sam plans to attend Indian Hills Community College and earn her degree as a Radiologic Technologist. In 5-10 years, she sees herself married and starting a family, working at a hospital or clinic and continuing her passion for Radiology.
When we asked Sam what teacher or staff member has impacted her the most while at PCHS, she told us: "I believe Mrs. Owings has made the largest impact on my life throughout high school. She has supported me in and out of school. She has given me several real-life experiences to succeed in the future. Mrs. Owings has also made my writing ability even better."
Sam's favorite class the past 4 years: "My favorite class at Putnam would have to be Advertising. I enjoyed being more involved within the community and showing activities to get everyone involved together."
"My most memorable moment at Putnam would have to be freshman year homecoming. A few of my teammates and I gathered on the gym floor in front of everyone and told the school a little rap. I still remember it. Hilarious."
Congratulations, Sam! We are #PutnamProud of you and excited for your future in Radiology.
