Students in Mrs. Tennill’s Sixth Grade Reading class are starting the book The Giver by Louis Lowry. The Giver is a book about a boy named Jonas that lives in a perfect world. Jonas is learning about his identity and what makes him who he is. This book is really getting students thinking about what life would be like in a perfect world and what their identity is.
