6th Grade Miniature Character Autopsy
6th Grade have been reading Old Yeller by Fred Gibson this quarter, of which we just finished the novel. While reading the novel we have been discussing context clues text evidence making inferences in analyzing new words. Students are now working on a Miniature Character Autopsy. Students are expected to find contacts clues and text evidence while they do their autopsy. Students are then supposed to use the evidence that they find from their novel and prove how the character has changed throughout the novel. Next week we will be starting the movie. Students will then write a a compare and contrast essay. The essay will be comparing the novel versus the movie.
