Learning How to Manage Stress
The 5th-grade students recently completed a unit on stress management. Many techniques were practiced such as deep breathing, ways to identify stress and anxiety, making a stress ball, madder matter sand, and creating a focus bottle. Thanks to Wis-Pak in Quincy, Illinois for donating the bottles for our project. Hopefully, some of these techniques will prove useful as the students soon transition into middle school.
