Guiding Little Hearts for 13 Years: Mrs. Diane McClain
👩🏼🏫Every school needs a great counselor. This fall will be Mrs. Diane McClain's 13th year as Putnam County Elementary School counselor. 🙌🏻
Mrs. McClain grew up in Seymour, Iowa and graduated from Seymour High School. 👩🏼🎓From there she pursued her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from William Penn University and then her Masters in Education/School Counseling from Drake University.
Diane spent ten years as a social worker for the Department of Social Services before starting her career at PCRI as a School-Based Social Worker. After serving 4 years as a School-Based Social worker, she then stepped into the role of Elementary School Counselor. Mrs. McClain loves working with the children and seeing them grow. She has a heart 💗for kids.
Mrs. McClain and her husband Richard live west of Unionville. Her husband works at MO-DOT. They have two children and one granddaughter. Their son Trenton🧑🏻 lives in Moberly, Missouri. Their daughter Sydney Beeler👩🏼, her husband Daniel, and their one year old granddaughter, Baylin👧🏼, live in Downing, Missouri.
