Hello! My name is Jason Pinsker and I am an art educator, artist and designer. I grew up in North Hollywood, California and currently teach Digital Arts and Applied Technology classes here at Hoover.

I have also worked in the Television and Motion Picture industry as a Special Effects Artist with credits on productions including: The Chronicles of Narnia, Transformers, X-Men, and The Walking Dead. I have also designed various logos/brand identities, illustrations, animations and concept designs in a freelance capacity.

I believe heavily in the importance of arts education and consider it my duty to facilitate students with the tools necessary to express themselves creatively. I am also a proponent of connecting traditional art methods and concepts with contemporary art forms, industries, and emerging technologies.
