My name is Dwight McGlynn and I am the music teacher at Baton Elementary. I began teaching at Baton in the fall of 2021. I am originally from the capitol region of New York State. I graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, with a degree in Music Education. Prior to my position at Baton I acquired 4 years of experience teaching at West Lenoir and Valmead Elementary.

 I have been married to Mrs. McGlynn for five years. In the summer of 2021, my beautiful little girl, Margot, was born. When I am not spending time with my family, I enjoy songwriting and performing as a multi instrumentalist around the region.
