Hello All,

I am Karla Ford.  I am the Exceptional Children's Resource Teacher here at Baton.  I have been teaching for 20 years.  All 20 years have been here at Baton.  I have taught grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade.  Four years ago, I started teaching in our school's Exceptional Children's Resource Classroom. 

I received my BA from Lenoir-Rhyne in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading.  I received my MA in Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb University.  I am certified in both ESL and EC. 

I live in Lenoir with my husband.  We enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.  A few of my favorite things are:  sewing, crafts, Snoopy, the color pink, Bit of Honey, and teaching.  I don't have a favorite song, movie, or t.v. show.
