You can find me in Room A311 working in Yes Center. This is my 2nd year at West Cabarrus and my 10th year working in Cabarrus County Schools. It is a privilege to work with your teenagers as I watch them grow and excel as they set lifelong goals.

I'm from Kannapolis, NC and a proud product of University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I earned my BS degree in Criminal Justice while playing and then later coaching women's basketball for the Charlotte 49ers. As the first Women's Basketball Coach here at West Cabarrus, I hope to develop a program that the entire community will be proud of on and off of the basketball court.

I love spending my free time with family and close friends. I am married to Malcolm Simmons and we have one daughter, Jillian.
